At Active Learning Centers, our campers are on the go! They spend the majority of their time outdoors engaged in games and activities that stimulate their creativity, their imagination, and their independence. Each week has a different theme that keeps them interested, engaged and excited to come back. Best of all, they form connections with both their teachers and peers, develop their communication skills, and become stronger both socially and emotionally. Each week has a different theme. The activities of the week match the theme and are designed to teach, encourage, and to help develop a child’s social/emotional skills.

Pool time. We’ll send them home nice and tired. But no reason to worry about safety. We have an excellent staff-to-child ratio that exceeds state requirements. We even send along our own lifeguard!

Safety is paramount. Every time we leave the center we utilize our off-site safety protocols and we put the kids in color-coded shirts.

Martial arts. Our unique blend of all the positive traits that martial arts encourages makes this a one-of-a-kind program.

From listening skills to problem solving, and courage to communication, this will be the most beneficial and fun camp you’ll ever find. All activities that week, will help turn your child into a strong and successful leader.

Week 1: Let the Games Begin! – June 15 - 19
LET’S GO! Being active is what we’re all about! We won’t stop at just sports either! We’re getting off the couch and getting into the competition. From competitive sports to three legged races and water balloon tosses, our campers will feel the competition all while being great sports!

Week 2: Paws, Claws, and Jaws! – June 22 - 26
ANIMALS, ANIMALS, EVERYWHERE! Whether the animals are from the jungle, the farm, the sea, or our backyard… If it has paws, claws or jaws, we are going to learn all about it this week. So, bring your safari hats, field glasses, and your sense of adventure…It’s gonna get WILD!

Week 3: Red, White, and Run! – June 29 – July 3
OH, SAY CAN YOU SEE! Join us for an active and festive week celebrating America’s birthday. It will be a week of red, white, and blue – from our clothes and crafts to our classrooms and our snacks! Not to mention a little history thrown in…and then wrapped up with our annual color run.

Week 4: Thrills and Skills – July 6 - 10
GET READY FOR ACTION! This week campers will push their limits and discover what they’re truly made of! From heart-pounding challenges to exciting new experiences, every day brings a chance to be brave and try something unforgettable. It’s the perfect mix of nerves, courage, and pure fun. Adventure is calling, and your next big moment is waiting!

Week 5: Once Upon A Stage – July 13 - 17
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! Come discover the glitz and glamour of the stage. This week will be filled with singing, dancing, acting, directing, screenwriting and even set design! Discover what it takes to get your name in lights!

Week 6: Destination…Summer Vacation! – July 20 - 24
LET’S GET IN GEAR! This week, campers will be revved up and having fun as they explore the world from behind the wheel. This is all about the things that keep us moving from cars, trucks, planes, trains, boats and more. If it can get you there, we’ll explore it!

Week 7: Waterworks – July 27 - 31

WATER, WATER, EVERYWHERE! This week campers discover how water works…what makes a wave? How does water get to our house? What’s the difference between a river and a creek? Oh, and who can dodge the most water balloons! Bring your towel, it’s gonna be a wet and wild week!

Week 8: Field of Dreams – August 3 - 7
IF YOU BUILD IT! Campers journey from ancient Greek Olympic stadiums to today’s cutting-edge arenas! They’ll explore
legendary sports grounds, uncover the stories behind them, and see how stadiums have evolved through time. With exclusive behind-the-scenes tours, campers will walk where champions walk. This is the ultimate adventure for every sports fan and techy alike!

Week 9: Artifacts and Adventures – August 10 - 14

STEP BACK IN TIME! Campers discover what life was like before cars, phones, and screens! From prairie living to the childhoods of their own grandparents, they’ll explore hands-on history in the most exciting way. With museum visits and real artifacts to uncover, this adventure turns the past into a world they can touch, imagine, and explore!

Week 10: Journey to the Center of the Earth – August 17 - 21

GET READY TO DIG DEEP! This week we’re heading into caves, caverns, and real mines on an epic Journey to the Center of the Earth! Campers will explore hidden worlds, discover ancient formations, and uncover the secrets beneath our feet. Adventure, mystery, and underground wonders await. Grab your gear, explorers, it’s time to go down!

Week 11: Color Wars – August 24 - 28

ON YOUR MARKS, GET SET, GO! This is the ultimate week of teamwork, friendly rivalry, and nonstop outdoor action! Campers will battle it out in soccer, kickball, volleyball, foot races, and epic field day challenges against other ALC locations. And it all leads to our annual charity showdown—where every point and every dollar raised helps fight childhood cancer. Game on for a great cause!
