Preschool / Pre-K

ALC’s preschool and pre-kindergarten curriculums are based on the PA learning standards for early childhood development. Our programs are designed to prepare the children for elementary school and have an emphasis on a healthy, active approach to life.

The curriculum structure provides for learning in: language and literacy, mathematics, creative arts, science, and social studies. There is a shared emphasis on critical thinking, social skills, and physical fitness.

All children enrolled in our preschool and pre-kindergarten child care programs are encouraged to participate in our martial arts classes (at no additional charge.) This is a unique opportunity that allows the children to build more life skills to enhance their learning experience. We have a martial arts curriculum that is specially designed for this age group which emphasizes self-discipline, goal setting, self-confidence, and respect for others.
